Prayers For Healing
Throughout the ages people with health problems have sought out power spots, sacred sites or natural springs for healing.
I have been very fortunate to live all my life with my backyard that Native American Indians consider a sacred site.
Garden of the Gods was and is regarded by the Ute tribe as a sacred power place. The waters that flow from this area have long been
regarded as having healing properties.
Garden of the Gods, as you can see in these photos, has magnificent rock formations jutting dramatically upward.
It has been preserved by the city as a public park. Many are aware that there are energy vortexs present in the park, I am
one of those people who regularly visits one of those energy vortexs in this sacred place.
For those people who are suffering with health issues and are not able to visit such a place, I am willing to offer up prayers
for your healing at the energy vortex in Garden of the Gods. Do you believe in the power of prayer? I do. I follow the Native American
tradition and will start by calling in and honoring the four directions. I will do a simple medicine wheel each time, and then will
spend time lifting up each prayer earnestly, releasing the prayers into the universe from this mystical spot.
I also offer the addition of my preparing "prayer ties" which I repeat your prayers as I create these little pockets of tobacco
in red cloth which are left in the area to continue to offer up your prayers.
I believe that those with health problems can find additional peace from this lifting up. Miracles are always possible, but in
no way is this meant to take the place of a doctors care.
